Phobias are real, and they should not be ignored. Phobias are kind of disease a person experiences that make them feel irrational fear about a situation, any object or place.
Anatidaephobia is one of the most uncommon and rare kinds of phobias. It is also known the fear of a duck or fear of being constantly watched by a duck. A person suffering from this phobia suffers from a persistent condition that makes them feel that somewhere in the world there is a duck or goose that is constantly watching them. Anatidaephobia symptoms are: They behave irrationally in different situations, suffer extreme anger or sometimes extreme fear that they isolate themselves. As whatever they are doing, they always have a feeling that some duck has an eye on them all the time. Most of the time People who have Anatidaephobia can’t get anything done as they are always suffering and distracted by the fear of being watched. One phobia may lead to other phobias. Anatidaephobia may lead to agoraphobia that is related to fear of leaving the house as Anatidaephobia locks themselves in their house and try not to leave the house.

There is always a reason for everything that happens. Like all other diseases, there might be several reasons that make people suffer from this disease. As past experiences play a vital role in what happens in our life, the same as anatidaephobia might be caused due to a traumatic or frightening experience with ducks in one’s childhood. Things that happen to young children have the potential to lead a lifelong fear.
Symptoms
Every disease shows it’s symptoms before completely conquering one’s whole mind. These symptoms are for the people around the person suffering. If keenly observed and paid attention, the problem can be controlled before it goes uncontrollable. That is why we should never ignore any person if he/she does not behave normally. The common symptoms that are seen in Anatidaephobia are: Dryness of mouth Breathlessness Tremors in hands and legs deep breaths Perspiration feels trapped by the ducks and cannot escape.
The patient itself can mostly diagnose Anatidaephobia. A person should learn about what is happening to him and then consult the psychiatrist for help. Anatdephobia is usually cured by different therapies, but in severe anxiety situation, anti-anxiety pills are suggested.
Syndrome
The syndrome is a neurological condition. Syndromes are different from diseases. Diseases are caused by definite reason and are curable whereas syndromes might not have a definite cause and have no cure. The symptoms might not help the doctor or the patient to detect what is exactly the cause of the problem. The syndrome is not a disease and people suffering from syndromes are not ill. Mostly, there are genetic reasons due to which people suffer from these disorders.
Alice in the Wonderland Syndrome:
Just as the name suggests a fictional character “Alice”, Alice in the wonderland syndrome also makes the people suffering from it experience the same things Alice experienced.
It is a rare and uncommon kind of condition that causes temporary distortion in perception about size, color, and orientation of the objects. People see objects larger or smaller than their actual size or might seem closer to you than they are. These problems are not caused due to any problem related to eyes or hallucination; rather they are due to changes in how our brain starts to perceive things. Different people encounter this syndrome differently. Some people suffer even when they are awake and some encounter while being asleep or sometimes due to lack of sleep. Moreover, there is no treatment for AWS.

Things around you may look bigger, smaller, closer, or farther away than they are. Straight lines may look wavy Things that are still may seem to move. Three-dimensional objects may look flat.
Things may change colors or tilt to the side. Faces look distorted. Colors seem extra bright
stretched out people and objects.
There is no medical cure for AIWS. It can only be eliminated wit age or only by comforting the patient.
